Do you have the time...?

"What are you trying to do !!?" I exclaimed as I noticed my fellow engineering classmate copying out chemical reactions on a notebook, from a 12th class chemistry book, a coupla days before our sessional exams, My mind in its workshops started exploring possible responses as it took a devoted ride of all our engineering subjects trying to link them with 12th class chemistry. But each connection seemed preposterous and futile..

And then she spoke.. Her words struck me like a jolt from the sky and i could feel my ears ringing with the reply.. "I’m making notes for my younger bro in class 12 who's going to appear for boards soon." i was simply awestruck to say the least. I recalled how i had reacted when my sister called me up for her doubts and queries last day. The instinctive guilt and self reproach flooded in, like a stream of wind on a chilly winter night.

expressing my introspective thoughts and my rationale was hence due..

This world moves at a fast pace.. Faster than we perceive it is, theoretically.. Fast it is., for look around you, who's got time? Everyone seems to be 'getting late' for one thing or the other, striving to catch up with the elusive time in his/her life.. Pragmatically analyzing, apathetic or not, one would have to anxiously contort(not really desirable this) his/her arduous schedule in order to help someone out at short notice.. Fast it is, for scrutinize the people around you, who cares? Think deeply, people seem to care and worry only about the people who have their lives intertwined with their own.. Every single person, with his/her own sense of the world, seems to be justified in whatever he/she is doing, vying for that 'ultimate' goal of his/her life.. Slow, the world gets, only for those who lose track, or the ability to forge ahead like the rest to achieve what they want.. The experienced have cried- Stop not, for you'll be left behind.., transforming your march in a rather steep climb, post your trivial lull.. A climb that is denunciated, for it carries through till the very end..

Utterly Cynical you think then, is all this?? The opinion well, is divided., amongst those who have TIME for all this and amongst those who don’t really care. I know I dont.., but yep, got enough to catch the irony..!!

Today I came across a video that just said the same thing. After a few years, by the time a student completes two-thirds of his study, first one-third would have been rendered useless. Rite, its time we need to CREATE time. Nice thoughtful post. :)
